Heavy fighting continues towards residential areas of south and eastern side of Bakhmut. The situation is increasingly difficult but Ukrainian defenders holding the line.

Russian troops try to expand territorial gains north of Soledar. There is a claim from PMC Wagner that Sakko i Vantsetti has been captured, but we cannot verify that claim anywhere yet.

In Vuhledar Ukrainian forces continue to repel assaults which happen in primarily three directions. Russian forces bring reinforcements into the area to continue assault attempts and replenish severely damaged naval infantry brigades.

General Updates:

Reznikov went to France to discuss the transfer of fighter jets. While the US is not ready to take such a step yet, other allied countries appear to be more willing.

France is handing over 12 more CAESAR self-propelled guns to Ukraine, said the French Minister of Defense Lecornu. Ukraine will also sign a contract to buy GM200 radars from Thales.
