Russian forces control the junction of the M03-T0513 leading to the northern outskirts of Bakhmut and Berkhivka. In addition, Russian forces are pushing in the area between Yahidne-Berkhivka towards Kromove to cut the supply route.
Russian sources claim control of the high ground north of Berkhivka, but this is unconfirmed. It would complicate the defense of Berkhivka, as it lies in an area 300m lower.
General Updates:
The US believes that China is providing more assistance to Russia. So far by non-lethal means (as well as helping to evade sanctions), but it is getting closer to the line when its help crosses the threshold of lethal means.
The Supreme Commander of NATO's Joint Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, supports providing Ukraine with the most advanced Western weapons, including F-16s and long-range missiles, to bring it closer to victory, he said in a closed door meeting.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will come to Kyiv on Tuesday, where she will announce a new military aid package for Ukraine. Before the visit to Ukraine, Meloni is expected to stop in Warsaw and hold talks with Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki.
French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu confirmed that France will hand over the first batch of AMX-10RC to Ukraine by the end of next week.
