In the south of Bakhmut fighting is reported close to the Mig-17 monument. The road O0506 from Bakhmut that leads through Khromove is also under pressure. Russian troops have moved closer there after being expelled earlier.
Russian troops make attempts to control Orikhovo-Vasylivka, so far unsuccessful. The Ukrainian forces repelled attacks on the area's of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Novomarkove, Vasyukivka and Zaliznyans'ke.
Around Kreminna no map changes, but fighting continues towards North and North West of Dibrova. Russian troops try to break through there while Ukrainian troops launch local counter-offensives to drive back Russians.
General Updates:
In the near future, Lithuania will hand over another package of military aid to Ukraine, Minister of Defense Anušauskas said. The package will include 155-mm ammunition, vehicles and military rations.
Finally, after much talks and intentions, Poland confirmed it will supply Ukraine with MiG-29 fighter jets. Four will already be delivered within days, and are fully operable. The others need preparation and will be sent to Ukraine as soon as possible.
Minister of the Armed Forces of France Lecornu confirmed that the first AMX-10RC are already in Ukraine. Ukrainian tankers are finishing training in France on these vehicles also.
The US is going to announce a new military aid package for Ukraine in the coming days. This was stated by the coordinator of strategic communications of the National Security Council, John Kirby.
