In Vuhledar, Russian troops are now trying to attack more east of Vuhledar instead of head on from the south.

Heavy battles continue in Bakhmut on the north west sector of the frontline as large assaults are taking place in order to physically cut the roads to the west.

The Russians have changed tactics they are trying to push back the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Bakhmut, and not to surround the city says a military analyst.

General Updates:

The German concern Rheinmetall plans to buy from Switzerland 96 decommissioned Leopard 1A5 tanks from the Swiss defense company Ruag to be sent to Ukraine.

Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK Vadym Prystaiko said that the UK would supply Ukraine not 14 Challenger 2 tanks, but 28, and also increase the number of Ukrainian personnel who will be trained in the country this year by 2.5 times.

Saudi Arabia sent three planes of humanitarian aid to Ukraine as part of the $100 million program. The assistance includes 135 generators with a capacity of 20 to 400 kilowatts, warm blankets and hygiene products.
