North of Avdiivka, Russian troops have withdrawn towards Troitske after a second failed attack on Novobakhmutivka.

Russian forces have advanced west of the city reaching the road between Bakhmut and Bohdanivka. And they also have made further advances within the city both in the north and south.

Ukrainian forces have reinforced the north western flank and managed yesterday to slow the advance somewhat new assaults are taking place.

Towards the south several localised counterattacks pushed them away from the road heavy fighting continues near Ivanivske.

General Updates:

Two pilots from Ukraine are in the United States at a military base where their control skills are being evaluated on aircraft simulators, including the F-16.

Vucic denied that Serbia sent ammo to either party in the war. Last week, papers were leaked showing that Serbian defense businesses provided MRLS missiles to Ukraine early february.
