Russian forces have continued west and advanced up to the main road out of Bakhmut which passes along the edge of the city.
In the northwestern area, Russian sources claim further advances to the children's hospital, but this has not yet been confirmed.

Ukraine has fulfilled all 7 recommendations of the European Commission for a candidate country for the European Union and expects an interim report from the European authorities by the end of spring, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said.
NATO countries completed training and armed more than 9 new brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Jens Stoltenberg said. According to him, 1,550 armored vehicles, 230 tanks and huge amounts of ammunition have already been delivered to Ukraine.
Russian sources report that Mikhail Mizintsev also known as 'The Butcher of Mariupol' was dismissed from the post of Russian Deputy Minister of Defense. In his position, he was responsible for the logistics of the troops, but apparently he didn't do well enough.
