Russian forces continue to press assaults in the direction of Vuhledar. They have increased their use of artillery now as their ground assaults are being effectively repelled.
Russian forces expanded control between Bakhmut and Sivers'k, capturing the settlement of Mykolaivka.
Heavy fighting continues to the north of Krasna Hora. Heavy assaults are taking place with an effort to break defences which are currently holding.
General Updates:
President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Head of EU Diplomacy, Josep Borrell as well as many other EU politicians arrived in Kyiv. They will take part in the Ukrain-EU summit, which is held in the capital tomorrow.
A group of 70 Ukrainian military personnel arrived in Germany last tuesday for a training on the Patriot air defense system.
The European Union approved another tranche of €500 million to support the reform process. The European Commission will transfer an additional 2,400 generators to Ukraine. It also invited Ukraine to the energy platform to cooperately buy gas.
